    There hasn't always been a float center in the Charlotte area! Here's how we got started ...


    The Float Carolina project began in 2016 when owners Justin, Eric, & Jack took notice of the absence of an accessible sensory deprivation float facility in the Charlotte, NC area. After nearly two years of research, planning, and development, Float Carolina opened its doors in 2017, just minutes from downtown Waxhaw, providing the region's first purpose-built facility for the flotation R.E.S.T. therapy technique.

    Three years and thousands of floats later, the team of float facilitators at our spa is grateful for the privilege to serve our guests and members, and is excited to offer world-class, medically-validated therapeutic techniques that can benefit everyone.

    All appointments are booked in advance, but we make it very easy! Just give us a call, or click below to secure your preferred appointment time! Please allow 2 hours in your day for your entire appointment.

Making an appointment securely reserves a room for you, and prevents its availability to anyone else. If you must cancel, please do so with as much advance as possible, so that others may book those times.

At Float Carolina, we understand that things come up, and emergencies happen. While we hope to see you at your appointment time, if something has come up, please:

+ Cancellations at least 24 hours prior to an appointment can be rescheduled with full credit at no additional charge.

- Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to an appointment will be charged a $35 cancellation fee.

- No-show Appointments with no prior notification to Float Carolina will be charged the full amount of the appointment cost, or one (1) Service Credit for Members.



Float Carolina Memberships begin with a 3-month starting commitment; after this introductory period, you may pause or cancel your membership at any time, with no penalty to existing service credits.

To pause or cancel your membership, please call 704-243-0081 or write to float@floatcarolina.com at least 48 hours prior to your renewal date, to avoid future recurring dues.

Please note that your renewal date will be set, and emailed to you at the time of sign-up. If you'd like to change your renewal date, please get in touch.
